Course Description:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) course on construction safety is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of safety practices and regulations in the construction industry. The course covers various topics such as fall protection, electrical safety, excavation, and crane safety. Participants will also learn about hazard recognition, control, and prevention, as well as how to effectively communicate and report incidents. The OSHA Construction 10 or 30 Hour course will be taught in-person or via Zoom.
Important Completion Requirement: Classes are held in-person only, Full attendance, participation and passing quiz score determined by the instructor are required to receive the completion cards. ​

Card Delivery:
OSHA cards typically arrive at the school around 2-4 weeks upon completion. You will receive a notification when they are ready for pick-up or if they will be mailed to you as requested.

Payment:
Please ensure full payment at least 3 business days prior to the start date to secure your seat. If paying by check, payment must be made 7 days before the start date.

Cancellation requests made at least 3 business days before the course start date will receive a full refund

Cancellation requests made 2 business days prior to the start date will receive a 70% refund.

Cancellation requests made 1 business day prior to the start date will receive a 50% refund.

After the class begins, no refunds will be given regardless of attendance or completion status.
Lost Card Replacement:
The course cost includes the initial card issued. If you need to replace a lost card, please contact us via email at safety@nycareerschool.com. A $30 replacement fee will apply for each card requested. This service is available for up to 5 years from the course completion date.
